Mantap, DWP Bengkalis Raih Juara Pertama Lomba Buat Kue Khas Melayu Peringatan Hari Ibu Kartini Tahu

BENGKALIS – Dalam rangka menyemarakan Peringatan Hari Kartini tahun 2018, Tim Penggerak-PKK Kabupaten Bengkalis menggelar berbagai perlombaan yaitu, lomba membuat kue khas melayu, paduan suara, desain batik Bengkalis dan lomba membaca surat Ibu Kartini, Selasa 17 April 2018 bertempat di Balai Kerapatan Adat Sri Mahkota Bengkalis.
 
Lomba tersebut diikuti sembayak 12 Kelompok Yaitu DWP Kab. Bengkalis, Tiara Kusama, PKK Siak Kecil, GOPTKI, Himpaudi, Bhayangkari, PKK Bengkalis, Harpi Melati, BKMT, Darma Yukti, Persit dan IPEMI.
 
Diantara 12 Kelompok tersebut Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Kabupaten Bengkalis meraih juara I, juara II Bhayangkari Polres Bengkalis dan juara III Persit Kodim 0303 Bengkalis.
 
Sementara juara harapan I diraih Harpi Melati juara II HIPMI Bengkalis, dengan mendatangkan juri dari Pekanbaru Chef Rudi, Hj. W. Sri Banun dan Junaida dari Bengkalis.
 
Disela-sela acara Ketua Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Kabupaten Bengkalis  Hj Akna Juita Bustami mengatakan, adapun tujuan kegiatan ini selain menyemarakan Peringatan Hari Ibu Kartini, juga untuk meningkat tali silaturahim, serta untuk meningkat kreativitas sesama organisasi wanita.
 
“Mudah-mudahan melalui kegiatan ini dapat menjaga tali silaturahim kita supaya tetap terjalin dengan baik, kemudian tetap melestarikan kue-kue atau makanan tradisional khas melayu Bengkalis,” ujar Akn
 
lanjut istri Bustami, Lomba ini juga sebagai tempat kreasi Ibu-ibu dalam mengembangkan bakat minatnya sehingga dapat tersalur dengan baik, sesuai dengan tema tahun ini, Perkuatkan kesetiakawanan sosial untuk mewujudkan kesejahteraan.
 
“Harapan kita juga kegiatan ini dapat menambahkan pengetahuan serta mengambil apa-apa yang terbaik, yang di cita-citakan oleh Raden Adjeng Kartini,” ungkapnya.**
